First snow of the season fell yesterday morning; it only stuck for a few hours, but it was still good to see. Almost as amusing were the "current" weather forecasts saying there was no snow in the region, hours after the first flakes began to fall.

Thus begins the seasons of slip-and-slide driving on the hills, in which we shall discover just how much effort the new landlords will put into shovelling, plowing, sanding, or de-icing. (My bet: little to none.)
