Sometimes, even Seattle gets a moment of sun; as evidence, I offer this picture taken yesterday evening, right off my patio.

Ironically, I could only see the (fainter) second rainbow from my office window as I was recording some guitar parts. Between takes, I heard children outside shouting "Mommy! Mommy! Rainbows! Look at the rainbows!" - and that's when I noticed the diffuse light from the primary rainbow, so I grabbed the camera and took a look. They were visible for about 15 minutes, although their peak brightness only lasted about two minutes.
