Axe Detritus

So I'm getting started on a project today which involved cleaning some space on my desks. You know: filing, organizing, putting stuff back on shelves now that I'm done with it, etc. To my surprise, I find my desk is awash with what I can only call "guitar litter:"
- One Dunlop medium thumbpick
- One National large thumbpick
- New and worn yellow, green, and blue Tortex flatpicks (for the uninitiated, the yellow ones roughly correspond to a medium flatpick; the greens and blues are heavier)
- Big hurkin' 3mm translucent purple Dunlop "Stubby" flatpicks, both standard style and the more-jazz-oriented teardrop style
The irony here is that I don't often play using picks. But apparently, when I do, it takes me a long time to figure out which one I want! Also:
- One set of eight metric allen wrenches, 1.5 to 6 mm
- One set of eight English allen wrenches, .05 inches to 5/32-inch
- One Intellitouch battery-operated chromatic tuner
- One 1/8-inch Philips screwdriver
- One 1/8-inch standard screwdriver
And this is just the junk I have on my desk within maybe 10 inches of my computer mouse, over the course of maybe three days during which I was not particularly working on recording anything. Sheesh.
