Sometimes you really have to feel for television news reporters who get a live feed thrown to them during a "Breaking News" event. Actually heard on the television tonight:

"Yes, here we are at the U Dub [University of Washington] seismology lab, where, if the camera pans over, you can just see at the bottom there, just visible, what we refer to as the squiggly line."
