Pelos Felinus
Fri, Aug 04 2000
Point of fact: All cats are bald. What we commonly call "cat hair" is a symbiotic parasitic colony inhabiting most felines. Recent studies show each "cat hair" (pelos felinus) may in fact be as intelligent - or even more intelligent - than the common house cat. Witness its ability to alternately cling to items such as clothing or food, yet suddenly begin floating freely through the air when observed. Examination of the migratory patterns of pelos felinus indicate that it's also more responsive to the actions of humans than cats themselves.
