When anyone passes before their time, it is sad. When that person is a parent, it becomes much more than sad. And when that person is talented, insightful, able to communicate with a large public audience, and is considered by most if not all to be a genuinely fine human being, it is tragic. I did not know Cary Lu, except as a part of that audience, but I wish I did. We need more people alive and on the planet like Cary.
