I feel very fortunate to have known Cary, although I wasn't a close friend. He helped me set up an ethernet in my Mac office at home (originally two Macs, now four plus one PC)! He said he'd like to help so he could experience some of the typical small business issues with networking! (Simple stuff to him, I'm sure.) He was always willing to take the time to explain the mysteries of my beloved Mac to me.
I will always remember visiting his quiet home office with the cement wall, seeing him patiently sitting at the computer with both kids on his knee playing a game. I've never seen so much software and hardware in one place, nor such a patient Dad!
My thoughts are with Ellen and the kids!
