Cary Lu
Remembered

Cary bought a hard disk from me about a month ago. After he picked up the drive and returned home, I called him in a panic as I had suffered a complete data loss on my newly installed hard drive.

Cary, empathizing with my "loss", told me he would transfer all the data from the Drive he bought onto a CDROM. He offered to deliver the CD backup to me. I struggled to convince him that mailing it was sufficient. Cary would accept no compensation for his labors.

Cary and I talked briefly about the prognosis of his cancer. He knew at that time that he might not live very much longer. I of course, feel very guilty that he was burdenned with this task of helping me save myself from my carelessness in not backing up etc. I marvel at his kindness and patience.
