I am one of the thousands of unnamed individuals who's lives have been touched over the years through his insightful, practical and application centered writings about the Macintosh computer. His book on the Macintosh computer published in 1984 started me on the wonderful journey of becoming a personal computer user which has led to a richer, broader vison of what the computer could do to create a more fullfilled life and business career in the enterprise of global commerce.

His overall impact on my life as a result of what he contributed to it in his writings can never really be measured and appreciated. It is with much sadness that I hear of his death. The world and I have lost a real "treasure." It - and I - will be at a loss without him.
