Cary Lu
Remembered

Phil Russell[hidden]@presys.com

I did not know Mr. Lu, but I was a fan of his writings about the Macintosh. I might mention one statement of his that I have used over and over again since he made it in about 1985-86.

He said that by the year 2000 the average desktop computer would have about 100 megabytes of RAM.

Here it is 1997, and one of my grandsons has 256 megs of RAM in his computer, and it is no longer good practice to sell a new Mac with less than 32 megs of RAM already on board.

We will miss Cary Lu.
