Cary Lu
Remembered

I was very sorry to hear (I just heard today, courtesy of MacWorld online) of Cary's passing.

I had the privilege of knowing him, a little bit, in the early Macintosh days, when he was writing his first book about the Macintosh.

I remember Cary as being gently, quiet, funny, curious, and very interested in what we were trying to do with our crazy ideas.

He also did an incredibly great job of explaining things.

Alas, I only touched base with him a few times since; each occasion was a pleasure. He will be much and deservedly missed.
