Boy, we've lost a dear friend, both personally and professionally. My memories of Cary were through the Boston Computer Society Macintosh group. As two of its early "founder participants" Cary and I worked closely together to bring in industry speakers and lend direction to the club. Bear in mind, BCS Mac was only about eight or nine people and we met around a large conference table at M.I.T.
We used to spend some nice, quiet time together at MacWorld events. He and I both worked hard to get away from the hectic run-around of the show floor.
Mostly, I'll miss his wise stories; both about Macintoshes and his family.
I've learned a lot from Cary.
Now it's someone else's turn to learn from him.
He'll be missed!
