My first encounter with things Macintosh was Cary's book The Apple Macintosh Book, which I read cover to cover before buying my first Mac (Classic 4/40). He made me feel I could enter this complicated new world and find myself at home in it. Over the years, I have found his articles and tips have added that little extra security when some new computer challenge appeared. Cary, you are missed already. Thank you for all you've given us.
